I think it might make sense if they put military bases along our borders. That's what I'd do.

As far as immigrants, I don't mind 'em, so long as they want to work and contribute to america.

While we're talking sense, I'd rather see an army of armed robots and autonomous vehicles patrol the border. They don't sleep and lack the remorse often associated with shooting a human being.

The reason people hate immigrants is because your govenment allows corporate buisness to gain from the cheap labour whilst compensating with poor peoples money.
